Music on the Main Stage on East Washington Street will begin at 12:30 when that little country gal from last year joins us again: come and hear Eliana Weston belt out some favorite country and pop tunes.
At 2:30, TRIMEX begins their performance. A blend of Latin and other cultures mixed with local flavor, this lively band will have you tapping your toes and dancing your way through the festival! They perform until 4 p.m.
Rounding out the day is another Momence favorite: Christina Pedroza, owner of Mystique on East Washington Street, who is joined by the McDowell Brothers for a 4:00 performance. The McDowell Brothers, long-time friends of legendary performer Buddy Guy, have been making their way on the music scene for some time. This first-time grouping of our own Christina Pedroza and the McDowell Brothers will be worth it for everyone!
The entire music day will be peppered with local performers strumming and singing through some sets while the bands set up on the stage. Check back for more info.
At 7:00 p.m., bring your lawn chairs and set up near the East Washington Street Main Stage for the first annual Heritage Day Street Dance! Bring your family and prepare to have some fun dancing in the streets to Loretto Lane, an acoustic band playing pop and other favorites from the Eagles to Steeley Dan to the Doobie Brothers and more. Their versatility, hot guitars and harmonic vocals have entertained audiences show after show! Loretto Lane are pictured above.
